The first EaP-EU cluster cooperation grant scheme is relaunched for Georgia, since the applications received from Georgia were ineligible for receiving the grant.
We would like to call your attention to the following crucial application requirement: the EU Cluster who you apply with must be an eligible cluster organisation with an approved profile on the ECCP platform.
The EaP PLUS grant scheme was born from the ambition to further enhance EU-EaP research and innovation partnerships through cluster and cluster-like organisation cooperation. The scheme aims at strengthening clusters in EaP countries, transferring the EU’s – and, when relevant, the EaP countries’ - good practices, and facilitating sustainable inter-cluster cooperation between the EU and EaP countries’ existing or emerging clusters.
EaP PLUS offers 1 grant of up to 10.000€ to a Georgian cluster or cluster-like legal entity or organisation. The grant covers the expenses of the cooperative activites between Georgia and the EU cluster only. The call is targeted to cluster and cluster-like initiatives in Georgia and EU countries only. To be elegible, you must be a cluster or cluster-like organisation from Georgia, and have a partnering cluster organisation from one of the 28 EU Member States.
The activities funded under this scheme must exclusively work towards boosting cooperation between the two parties (Georgian and EU clusters) during the duration of the grant. Eligible funding opportunities include, amongst others: management team missions from a EU country to Georgia and vice versa, with clearly defined objectives; exchange of staff to learn about R&I cluster strategy and practices; preparation of a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the two cluster organisations; organization of a common event; communication activities to inform the cluster members about opportunities of R&I collaboration; etc.
The purchase of equipment and other long-term material not suited specifically to the framework of this activity (eg: a projector), as well as salaries are not eligible for funding under the grant scheme.
To apply, please read carefully the Call for Applications and fill in the Application document attached below. Please note that incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration by the evaluators. We ask that you submit an Application form, a signed and dated letter of consent from the partner European cluster organisation, a short presentation of the EU and EaP clusters (PDF, PPT) and the link/screeenshot to the EU cluster profile on the ECCP to Krisztina Dax at k.dax@inno-group.com.
For questions concerning the grant scheme, please email Krisztina Dax at k.dax@inno-group.com.
We wish you every success with your application!
