On Tuesday 29 May, the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia has held a dedicated training for local H2020 National Contact Points (NCPs), in Yerevan.
The one-day intensive training was delivered by Ms. Tamara-Katharina Mitiska, Horizon 2020 expert from the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), and by local project partners.
The training started with a presentation of the EaP PLUS project and its past and future activities, which was followed by a detailed presentation of minimum standards and guiding principles for NCPs.
The second session of the training focused on Financial and Legal aspects, including Grant Agreement and Contractualisation, Funding Schemes and Payment Modalities, Intellectual Property Rights, etc.
The next session was dedicated to promotion of H2020, submission of applications, partners search and many other useful “tips” and “hints” on formation of the consortium, generation of more proposals and much more.
A separate session of the training was devoted to cross cutting activities covering Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowship, SME Instrument and cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network.
A suggestion was also made to create an NCP Corner on the website of H2020 National Information Point of Armenia. According to the results of the disseminated questionnaire on this issue, all the NCPs unanimously agreed on the establishment of the NCP Corner, which will serve as an information exchange platform.
14 NCPs were present at the training which was held in a very interactive mood where everyone was able to ask questions and contribute to the discussion.
