First RDI webinar "Innovation Strategy in RDI projects: maximising the impact of your research" draws over 40 participants
The first RDI webinar "Innovation strategy in RDI projects: maximising the impact of your research" took place on April 11th, 2017. Guest speakers Svetlana Klessova and Peter Häfner adressed the practical components of an innovation strategy in a 90-minute webinar, the first of a series of 6 webinars on RDI related topics.

Expert guest speakers Svetlana Klessova (Senior Innovation Manager and Director at inno TSD, France) and Peter Häfner (Senior Innovation Manager of engage AG, Head of the Berlin and Leipzig offices, Germany) lead a lively webinar on the topic of innovation strategy in RDI projects to over 40 participants from all 6 EAP countries. Participants included technology managers, researchers, staff from universities, research centers and SMEs. Svetlana Klessova gave an introduction to innovation strategy, and Peter Häfner detailed what an innovation strategy consists of in practice.
Participants who took part in the webinar were asked to fill in a short feedback survey following the webinar.
The satisfaction rate from respondents was particularly high (over 90%). In their replies, participants emphasised the need to further address elements of an innovation strategy in another webinar, such as licence litigation, financing, technology transfers, how to address SME's, etc.
The next webinar, planned for September 2017, will seek to address these issues with EU and EaP speakers.
